In this assignment I will be describing the different forms of verbal and non-verbal communication and the different needs, using examples from health and social care. I will be explaining the advantages and disadvantages of different forms of communication used, with reference to a one to one and on a group interaction. Lastly I will assess the effectiveness of different of different forms of communication for service users with different needs.

In this assignment I will be describing the barriers to communication in a nursing home with the effects, I will also use examples to explain in which barriers to communication may be overcome and the benefits. I will be explaining how measures have been implemented to overcome barriers to communication and lastly evaluate the effectiveness of measures taken to remove barriers to communication.
